Working on commissions is so exciting for me and I’d love to hear more about what you have in mind.
Below listed are the main points of the commission process - read on to understand more.
PROJECT OUTLINE
Tell me about your project and why you’re looking to have this commissioned. It’s important for me to understand the feelings behind this piece of work so that I can bring it to life in the best way.
We share reference images, colour palettes and discuss my approach to your piece. It’s important not only to get a feel for the tone of the piece but also to determine whether I feel I can compliment the project.
Once I have all the necessary information, I can quote the piece and send over a commission agreement.
PROJECT COMMENCEMENT
The average commission will take between 6-8 weeks.
However before I begin I’ll confirm expected timescales to complete this piece.
It’s very important we check in prior to commencing work, as this is an opportunity to raise any last minute thoughts on your requested piece.
It isn’t always possible to make changes once the project has begun.
The project will commence once payment has been made.
Once completed, I will check in to ensure you’re happy with the finished piece.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
A deposit of 50% is required before beginning work, with the remainder to be paid prior to shipping.
Delivery and import fees are calculated separately to the commission.
